Becky Stone is a huge fan of the auction house and covers our Important Jewelry sales in her blog. She loved this jewelry sale in particular and had this to say: “It’s such an inspiring mix of aspirational lots – the ones that someone like me would hope to touch in a jewelry store or admire on a stranger or maybe buy once in a lifetime – and more achievable pieces, which younger collectors with more modest budgets can feel comfortable bidding on.” She picked out a few of her favorites from the upcoming April 23-24 sale

Yellow gold, lapis, and turquoise – what a fantastic color combination! These earrings are big enough to be noticeable, but casual enough for daytime. A very satisfying prize, especially considering their not at all scary auction estimate.

I love this Deco lariat so much that I actually left it out of my own blog post on this sale because I didn’t want to drive up the price! I’m including it here because it’s so good, it deserves the recognition. Its long length means that you could wear it any number of ways.

I’m sure this long, dreamy opal in its intricate platinum setting would be a very welcome addition to any number of jewelry boxes.

This snake ring  – with its multiple coils, ruby eyes, and textured surface – is bursting with charisma. Something about the angle of its head makes it look positively mischievous.

Once you look beyond the stunning pietra dura elements, you realize that every individual link of the festooned chains is enameled. This piece would be a little harder to work into a contemporary wardrobe, but I think the right person will be able to pull it off with a blaze of glory.
