The May 24th Post War and Contemporary Art Auction is comprised of 240 lots of painting, sculpture, photography and works on paper. The sale opens with the painting session with highlights including works by Karel Appel, Will Barnet, Margo Hoff,  Howard Kanovitz, Alejandro Obregon, LeRoy Neiman, Terry Rodgers, Josef Siman, Tom Uttech, John Wilde and Karl Wirsum. The sculpture session follows with strong examples from Louise Bourgeoise, Henry Moore, Louise Nevelson, Claes Oldenburg, Niki de Saint Phalle, Marc Sijan, Jesus Rafael Soto and Victor Vasarely. The Photography portion of the auction features iconic portraiture by Roland Fischer, Nan Goldin, Chris Levine, Annie Leibowitz and Bert Stern. Concluding the sale is the works on paper presentation including notable drawings and collages by Joseph Cornell, Jim Dine, Elizabeth Murray, Larry Rivers, Paul Thek, Gunther Uecker and Joseph Yoakum.

The Fine Prints auction May 24 at 3pm will commence with an old master session featuring works by Durer, Rembrandt, de Goya, and Delacroix. The sale continues through the Belle Époque period with editioned works by such artists as Mucha, Cheret, and to early 20th century regionalist artists like Thomas Hart Benton and Grant Wood. Modern masters Picasso, Chagall, and Miro are strongly featured as the sale culminates with contemporary works by David Hockney, Chuck Close, and Franz Gertsch. 

The American and European Fine Art auction on Wednesday May 25th beginning at 10AM will kick off with highlights from American artists such as Ralston Crawford, Birger Sandzen, George Inness, John George Brown and Myron Barlow. Following the American session, the European artists represented will include Edouard Léon Cortès, Kostantin Korovin, John Fredrick Herring, Sr., Giovanni Boldini and Mai Trung Thu. Closing the sale will be a session of works on paper including artists such as Jane Peterson, Walter Ufer, Marc Chagall, Henri Matisse and Gifford Beal.
