Buying

The Fine Books and Manuscripts Department conducts several auctions per year, and our sales feature property for a variety of tastes and budgets. We are happy to provide detailed condition reports prior to an auction and bidding can be arranged by telephone, absentee, or live on the auction floor with a paddle.

We strive to provide a straightforward fine books and manuscripts buying process complete with informative catalogues, fully illustrated online catalogues, and an organized exhibition running four days prior to the sale with knowledgeable staff.
